Drupal Camp was organised in India for the first time on August 8-10. It was a great moment for Drupal Community in India. It was good to see participants travelling from all parts of India to attend this event. To name a few cities, people came from Shrinagar, Chennai, Mumbai, Banglore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Rajkot, Vadodara. All these people are doing some real good work in Drupal.

It was a event well planned and executed by Gloscon Solutions and its subsidiary companies. Thanks to all this great effort by the company. The event got good support among students from several colleges in Gujarat, it was unfortunate that we do not have a group photograph of them. The event got support from Sun Microsystems, Fedora, ITVidya.com, IEEE (Gujarat Section) and Linux For You.

I enjoyed speaking with several fellow Drupalites, all were enthusiastic about this promising technology. Good to know that all had enough of work at hand for Drupal Development.

I hope we have even more participation in the Drupal Camp in India whenever and whereever it happens next.
