Gujarat Hosting Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Gloscon, in association with Gujarat Startups announces Utkarsh - a business plan competition. Gujarat Startups invites Entrepreneurs with crazy ideas to participate in the competition and get set to win Cash prizes totalling more than Rs. 20000.

Utkarsh - conceptualized by Gujarat Startups - is a forum designed to encourage innovation in the Gujarat based student community and reward student participation in new venture creation.

The competition is organized to increase the recognition of Gujarat Startup's contribution to entrepreneurship in Gujarat. This would be a unique opportunity for all the budding entrepreneurs to get feedback about their idea from many sources (professors, peers, industry professionals)

Competition invites entrepreneurs to submit their ideas which should be on any one of the following topics:

1. Global Warming
2. Bringing social change through internet

Criteria for applying to the competition:

* Only students studying in Final Year of BE (Computer, IT), MCA
* Students from colleges in Gujarat are only eligible for this competition
* A team can also participate in the event but it should not comprise of more than 2 people

Prizes for the competition

1st Prize - Rs. 10000

2nd Prize -Rs. 7500

3rd Prize - Rs. 5000

The winning team/individual will also have the opportunity to work with Gloscon as Project Trainees.
